Our 3D scanner technology offers a preview of what your straighter smile may look like.
Your treatment plan will be tailored to your needs to help you achieve your smile goals.
With Invisalign (vs. braces), you may spend less time in our office during treatment.
We will begin by checking your smile to see if Invisalign is suitable for you. Then, we will use our iTero digital impression scanner to generate a 3D image of your smile and what it could look like after Invisalign treatment.
Based on the decisions made during your initial appointment, we will develop an Invisalign treatment plan, including timelines. Your plan will specify the exact movements your teeth are expected to make with each set of aligners.
We will create a series of custom Invisalign clear aligners for you. You will wear them as per your treatment schedule, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. The aligners will slowly move your teeth into position throughout treatment.
You'll change to the next set of aligners according to the schedule laid out by your dentist. Additionally, you'll have brief checkups with your dental team approximately every four to six weeks to monitor your progress.
It's an exciting day when you complete your orthodontic treatment! During your final appointment, we will go over the next steps and prescribe retainers to maintain your teeth in their new positions.

Invisalign is a set of clear, custom-made aligners that straighten your teeth without the use of metal wires or brackets.
Using advanced 3D computer imaging technology during the consultation process, we will create a treatment plan based on your unique smile.
A series of custom clear aligner trays will then be created to fit your teeth precisely during each stage of the Invisalign treatment process.
Invisalign clear plastic aligners are designed to consistently exert gentle yet firm pressure on your teeth as your treatment progresses. You will wear each aligner for a specific number of days before switching to the next one in the series.
This process will continue until your teeth are in their desired positions. The duration of your Invisalign treatment will be determined by your dentist based on your specific needs.
Your dentist will inform you of the length of your Invisalign treatment based on your specific needs.
Factors that may influence the duration of your treatment include the misalignment of your teeth or jaw, the shape of your bite, and the amount of movement required to correct the problem.
The Invisalign aligners are created using USP Class VI medical-grade, high molecular weight polyurethane resins. They are BPA-free.
Since Invisalign aligners don't need adjustments or tightening, you simply switch to a new set according to your treatment plan, and your dentist will schedule brief appointments with you approximately every 4 to 6 weeks as needed.
During these appointments, your dentist will take the opportunity to review your progress and general oral health, answer your questions, and adjust your treatment as required.
The key features of Invisalign include:
The overall cost of Invisalign will depend on the severity of your case and the duration of your treatment. For example, the more severe the malocclusion, the more aligners you'll need and the more your treatment may cost.
In many cases, the cost of Invisalign is comparable to that of traditional orthodontic treatment (braces).
You may find that Invisalign fits comfortably into your day-to-day life.
You should remove your aligners whenever you eat, drink, brush, or floss. This means there are no extra dietary restrictions, and you'll be able to brush and floss thoroughly and consistently.
Invisalign aligners are removable, meaning you can take them out to eat. As a result, there are no additional dietary restrictions when it comes to Invisalign, so you can continue to eat all the foods you love!
To prevent staining your clear aligners and potentially harming your teeth, we recommend removing the aligners when drinking anything other than plain water.

Invisalign Teen aligners feature small blue compliance indicators that fade over time, helping teens stay on schedule with their treatment.
They also come with eruption tabs that make space for second molars and help prevent them from growing crooked.
Most patients switch to their next set of aligners approximately every two weeks. Your dentist will tell you exactly how often you should change your aligners.
Invisalign aligners are removable, so you can play sports without worrying about causing damage to your aligners.
However, keep in mind that Invisalign aligners must be kept in for a minimum of 22 hours a day, so plan your time carefully.
It is recommended to wear a sports mouth guard to safeguard your teeth, since orthodontic treatment can cause slight loosening as teeth shift into new positions, increasing the risk of damage.
Yes! Just remove your aligners if you need to practise playing your instrument, and put them back in when you're finished.
Your Invisalign aligners come with a case, where you should store them whenever you remove them to keep them safe. Since the aligners are made of plastic, avoid leaving them in hot areas as they could deform or melt.
