Dr. Jaclyn Altman is a Periodontist at Rutherford Village Dental in Thornhill
Dr. Jaclyn Altman is a trained periodontist dedicated to helping patients achieve healthy gums and confident smiles. She completed her dental education at the University of Toronto and received advanced specialty training in periodontology at Columbia University in New York.
Given her extensive training, Dr. Altman is able to diagnose and treat all stages of gum disease as well as provide advanced periodontal and implant care. As a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, Dr. Altman is committed to the highest standards of excellence in patient care. She is an active member of the Ontario Dental Association, the Ontario Society of Periodontists, and the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity, and continually pursues ongoing education to stay at the forefront of modern periodontal treatment.
Dr. Altman is known for her gentle, patient-centered approach. She takes the time to educate and support her patients, helping them feel comfortable and informed throughout their treatment. Her goal is not only to treat periodontal concerns, but to create long-term oral health and beautiful, lasting results. Outside the office, Dr. Altman enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.
